The Rutland Arms Hotel in Bakewell has recently undergone a refurbis
hment, and now has a new tastefully redecorated lounge and bar area. Dogs are allowed in the lounge area, which is fortunate as you can benefit from a lovely roaring fire. Perfect for those chilly days in Bakewell.
There are plenty of dog walks nearby, and the Monsal Trail can be accessed, from the former Bakewell Station at the top of Station Road. ( If you walk across the 5 arched stone bridge from town, you will see Station Road ascending on your right.)
