Dovedale holiday cottage
Self catering holiday cottage in Dovedale. There are great dog friendly walks from the door plus the river to splash in at the bottom of the lane (but do be careful of the duck colony that lives there!) We allow up to 5 dogs in the downstairs areas of the cottage only, which are either tiled or carpeted. We provide stair gates and dog bowls.
Dovedale Holiday Cottage Kitchen
There is a dog friendly pub about 20 minutes walk along a lane with its’ own resident dog. There are plenty of other pubs within walking distance and you will have to look out for sheep (and lambs) depending on the season. The Tissington Trail is only a short 10 minute drive and this is a traffic free walking and cycling trail which would tire even the liveliest of dogs as it is 10-15 miles in length!
Dovedale Holiday Cottage Lounge
Our minimum stay is 2 nights and we are open all year round for bookings. The garden at Valley View is divided into different sections, some of which are secure (but not if your dog is a good jumper!) and some which require supervision. Please note sheep graze in the field at the back and to the side of the property so supervision is required.
